Express yourself using imagery. Mood, thoughts, etc.

Feel free to use original imagery, and also imagery you find elsewhere. Express anything - thoughts, moods, spirit animals, ideas, dreams, typology. Words are welcome too, if it helps to explain the imagery. Basically this is a picture diary.

Talking about seasons in the sensory thread, brought up a few thoughts. I find a deep inner connection and soul resonance in sensory aspects of all the seasons. Fall to winter for me is one of wilting, dying off of brightness into more subtle, yet deeper tones. It’s a time that’s getting ready for sleep, stillness (hibernation for some). There is so much more but alas my ability to put to words is grossly handicapped.

I like for cut flowers to wilt away when they are done instead of tossing them out at the first sign of not perfect blooming. Something about them having their full time even when not supple anymore...I also just like decaying things and follow hashtags like #beautifuldeadthings. It may be time to throw them into the compost. They are starting to smell pungent, not that I mind that. But still...

This is the goal, to ground my energy, to be of the earth. My energy is heavily concentrated in the third eye chakra, that my lower chakras get neglected. I tend to forget my roots, the fundamentals that keep my steady, organized, and focused. My emotions are filtered through the mind, where fantasies and projections are manifested. Leaning to think more effectively and productively is great, but this thinking needs to have a conduit and that conduit is a more grounded, gut type energy. To think, do, and be more of the earth. This is foreign to me because my head is in the cosmos, a floating head essentially. Simplicity, practicality, the "little things" are just as important as the universal themes and energy that undulates the universe. You must have a foundation to soar from and return to.
