    Instinctual Subtypes in The Iliad

    it strikes me that there is a good example of each of the stackings in The Iliad. briefly (will probably explain more later)
    Sp/So: Hector
    So/Sx: Aeneas
    Sx/Sp: Helen


    So/Sp: Agamemnon
    Sp/Sx: Odysseus
    Sx/So: Achilles

    interestingly enough...this works out to the Trojans being syn-flow and the Achaeans (Greeks) being contra-flow (if you say "but Helen is originally Greek, you can substitute Paris for the sake of this consistency). when you consider that the Greeks are the more glory-seeking aggressors, this makes a lot of sense

    Odysseus: LIE 7w8 Sp/Sx
    Patroclus: ESI 2w3 So/Sx
    Menaleus: SLE 8w7 Sp/So
    Ajax: S?E 8w7 ??/??


    Hector: LSE 1w2 Sp/So
    Paris: IEI 2w3 Sx/Sp
    Helen: same as Paris
    Priam: EIE 2w1 So/Sx
    Aeneas: ESI 2w1 So/Sx (he's only mentioned briefly in the Iliad, but he's much more fleshed out in the Aeneid)

    other epic characters
    Persephone: ESI 1w2 Sp/Sx
    Iphigenia: EII 9w1 So/Sx
    Cassandra: IEI 4w5 Sx/Sp
    Dido: some sort of Se-valuing ethical type and Sx dom
