    From "Cancelled" to "Conservexit"

2021 seems to be the year where the right has gone from "cancelled" to "conservexit". It's kind of inevitable in one sense: after you cancel someone, you can no longer exercise any more social power over them. Cancelled tens of thousands of people just like them? great! You made tens of thousands of enemies, lumped them all together and gave them common cause to fight you and exclude you in any way possible.

With all this "parents don't get to decide how to teach their kids!" bullshit (hint: whichever side has been anti-parent has NEVER been the good guys in thousands of years), the last straw has finally broken the camel's back, and now more and more people are homeschooling their children. If you've noticed the right has gotten louder these past 2 years or so, it's because their ranks have grown to include a more diverse coalition. For once, I think things are actually looking up.

It's interesting how our differences of opinion, and our differences with people like Rachel and Nadeanne are always so much more civilized than people on the left.

Yeah.. I'm not sure what the left hoped to accomplish by cancelling people willy nilly. All they're doing is giving us more power.
