I think this is why my anxiety has gotten worse in my 30s. I pick up everyone's sense that things just aren't safe. Whether I personally feel unsafe or not, the state of the nation is one of fear, distrust and hatred. It's impossible to ignore. And there is no room for love, freedom and hope.
